PROJECT TIMELINE
We are iteratively building the CMS in three phases over the course of the next two years.
KEY FEATURES & FUNCTIONALITY
Our initial discovery phase led us to define the core features that structure our work during the Build phase.

Access & Authorization
Provides users with access to the application, granting permissions based on their assigned roles.

Contact Management
Allows individuals and organizations to create, manage, and interact with contact records, while maintaining accurate data and managing public/private visibility.

Design System
Creates a centralized library of reusable components, UI patterns, and style guidelines for the entire application.

Case Management
Supports the creation and management of digital cases through their end-to-end lifecycle, including manual filing by court clerks.

Document Management
Facilitates the storage and management of state, circuit, and county documents.

Forms & E-filing
Allows users to download forms offline, submit forms online, and complete forms via a web portal.

Workflows
Automates, manages, and streamlines complex workflows across various courts, counties, and systems.

Policy Management
Enables users to manage and apply codes within the CMS, including court-specific customizations and updates from statewide legal sources.

Financial Management
Enables payments to be accepted online and in person. Allows the fee schedule to be configured at the state, circuit, and county level.

Calendaring & Scheduling
Provides event creation and updating capabilities within the application.

Search & Reporting
Allows users to search data fields across the system and generate both standard and customizable reports.
Looking back at Phase 1:
INITIAL DISCOVERY HIGHLIGHTS
Over three months, we conducted immersive discovery activities to ensure that we gathered as much input as
possible from the future users of the new system. At the end of this phase, we had a well-defined set of core
features and functionality that allowed us to move into the Build phase with a solid road map for delivery.
